Legal status:	Private non-profit entity (established by companies and faculties)
Business status:	Technological centre, which as a research and development organization and a subject of innovation support environment performs networking and clustering activities for its members on national and international level.

Since the beginning of 2002, TECES is registered and evidenced in the register of research organizations, kept by Slovenian Research Agency, under code 1792.
Within the organization, there is the registered research group 1792-001 TECES Research and Development TECES whose head is its Managing Director Mag. Matej Gajzer, and currently accounts for 9 active registered researchers and one technical assistant.

TECES is managed by the Council of the Institution (hereinafter CI). The CI is constituted by representatives of all the founders, in such manner that each founder has one representative in the CI. One representative of the employees of the Institution is also appointed for the CI. The CI is led by the Chair of the CI.
