Bosch Rexroth d.o.o., Škofja Loka is a 100% owned Bosch-Rexroth subsidiary, positioned as the development and the manufacturing partner of the Bosch-Rexroth. The company employs about 300 employees. It’s major customer is Bosch-Rexroth, who is also sales and marketing representative to the end customers.
There are two main branches of products being developed and manufactured in the company: the medium frequency welding transformers for the automotive industry, and the synchronous and asynchronous servo- and kit- motors mainly for the machine-building and the automotive industries.
Company also hosts its own registered research group which regularly participates on the national research projects and has good connection with the largest two Slovenian universities and several Slovenian research institutes. EIMV is the leading Slovenian engineering and scientific research organization acting in the area of electric power engineering. The Institute is an institution with tradition, established in 1948. From the economic and technological perspective, it addresses issues of generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. It releases feasibility and implementation studies, expert reports, makes technological, environmental and other analyses, inspects quality and operation of electric power systems and facilities as required by electric power utilities, ministries, as well as national and regional authorities. The institute carries out R&D projects on EU (Horizon 2020) and regional levels with various level of sophistication from idea to its realization. EIMV is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified company and has accredited testing procedures upon the EN ISO/IEC 17025 standard and control, as well as QA/QC, procedures upon the EN ISO/IEC 17020 standard. |
