Forms of partnership

In terms of more specific collaboration over the longer term and a potential partner’s interest in the services of TECES, two forms of partnership are possible:

MEMBER status (more about)

TECES FOUNDER status

Recommended for organizations that: :

are primarily active in manufacture of electrical machines, actuators, power electronics, drive systems and mechatronic assemblies;
are planning major independent investment and development projects for the coming years;
are planning to execute projects in the coming years for major partners that include current TECES founders and members;
are planning to draw significant EU or Slovenian funds for co-financing own projects;
are exceptionally focused on development and manufacture of new products;
have their own research & development departments;
wish to cooperate more actively and have an impact on activities under way in Slovenia in the field of electric drive industry, and also influence the development of TECES itself;

exploit the synergetic effects of joint activities underway among TECES founders and members;

seek opportunities for permanent access to the high-end R&D infrastructure at TECES;

NOTE: primarily suitable for legal persons based in Slovenia.

TECES MEMBER status

Recommended for organizations that:

are active in manufacture or development of electrical machines, actuators, power electronics, drive systems, mechatronic assemblies;
wish to operate and be perceived in TECES’ and its partners’ fields of activity as potential suppliers or contractors for specific activities;
wish to be kept informed of activities under way in Slovenia in the field of electric drives;
wish to be kept informed of activities and have the opportunity of collaborating in joint projects under the auspices of TECES;
seek opportunities for permanent or occasional access to the R&D infrastructure at TECES;
have no sufficient own resources for pursuing specific development activities;
wish to obtain various Slovenian and EU funds for co-financing own projects;
do not intend to establish a more specific collaboration, or make an impact in the field of TECES’ developmental activities and thus influence its development strategy;

NOTE: also suitable for legal persons based outside Slovenia.

Why become a TECES member/founder?

to streamline the costs of maintaining own R&D infrastructure and professionally trained staff,
because of the possibility of more favourable, permanent access to leading-edge R&D infrastructure and professionally and technically highly trained TECES staff,
because of the possibility to pursue own and joint projects resulting in the marketing of technologically highly demanding and competitive products,
to exploit the synergetic effects resulting from productive links established with other business entities within TECES,
because of more favourable possibilities for unification of tools for simultaneous product development among TECES partners,
to strengthen collaboration and enhance development activities of TECES founders/members and boost the flow of know-how and information regarding their R&D capabilities,
because of a greater possibility of obtaining funds by means of joint applications to tenders for co-financing R&D activities and infrastructure through tenders and Slovenian or EU incentives;
