TECES and Domel successfully complete development of sensorless controller for synchronous engines with 1.6kW, 3x400V permanent magnets
20. december 2010
Domel d.o.o. wanted to complement its range of existing motor controllers
by developing a new sensorless controller for permanent magnet synchronous motor with a topology consisting of six IGBT transistors which will allow for regulation of speed or torque with high motor and converter efficiency, and will be implemented on a 32-bit digital signal controller and connectible to the system via a MODBUS RTU interface.
Based on competences and past experiences,
Domel chose TECES as its partner in developing a new sensorless controller for permanent magnet synchronous motors with power of 1.6kW and supply voltage 3x400V.
The project
was completed successfully, with
the product turned over to Domel in the autumn of 2010.
The new controller thus represents the first step in developing further converters for the entire family of fan drives.
