Slovenian electro-mobility with the contribution of TECES!
15. maj 2014, Maribor
Letrika after a three-year development and testing in their own laboratories presented a domestic, Slovenian most advanced high-voltage (HV) power system for electric vehicles.
Engine with outstanding characteristics was fully developed in Letrika, development of controller (inverter) took place within the project
SiEVA and also in cooperation with the TECES R&D department. Thus, TECES contributed knowledge to develop an algorithm for the management of high-voltage motor drive controller, which has a range of 400-700km and only spending 2.00€ / 100 Km.
The advantages of the developed high-voltage drive:
- High efficiency exceeding the 90 %, which is three times more than conventional internal combustion engine
- large power density, meaning the weight of the engine has only 30 kilograms and the average person can carry it in their hands, and is powering a ton and a half of heavy car at a speed of 170 km/h
- Recuperation, the ability of returning energy during braking and driving downhill.
It is expected that the;
- Electro-mobility in the coming years, will become even more accessible,
- With zero emissions at a time of climate change - even more ecologically sustainable and
- in the energy crisis extremely attractive to end users with low power consumption and consequent low cost.
